Does the iPhone 6S have a front flash for taking selfies?

While the iPhone 6S does not have a dedicated front flash, it does have a 'retina flash' feature whereby the screen flashes white and then a second time to match the lighting environment and it effectively acts like a flash for selfies and closeup shots using the front camera.  Pretty cool tech and solves the illumination problem that has long plagued front facing cameras without a dedicated flash.
